Visser and Associates, PLLC traces its roots to 1977, when Don Visser began practicing law in downtown Grand Rapids with a simple idea: offer the cutting-edge representation clients expect from a large firm, with the personal attention of a small one. When the Michigan Supreme Court held in 2020 that governments may not keep the surplus from a tax-foreclosure sale, and the United States Supreme Court agreed in 2023, former property owners across the state became entitled to money that had been taken from them.
